The one-man shop

No franchise. No call center. Just the mechanic.

LATE CALL, EXTRA SET OF HANDS

Old-school garage pride, on wheels

In The Pits Mobile Mechanic is exactly what it sounds like: one experienced mechanic — Jeff — a van full of tools, and the whole Denver Metro & Front Range as the shop floor. There's no franchise fee baked into your bill, no dispatcher juggling twelve crews, and no service advisor working on commission.

That matters for a simple reason — accountability. The person who quotes the job is the person who does the job, and the person whose name is on the invoice. When your car gets fixed, you know exactly who fixed it and who stands behind it.

The name comes from racing: when a car is in the pits, one crew gets it back on track fast, and it's done right the first time. That's the standard for every driveway this van parks in.

Why mobile

The repair shop model is built around the shop. This one is built around you.

No tow bill

A car that won't start doesn't need a $150 ride to a parking lot where it waits three days. It needs a mechanic where it sits — usually the same day.

No lost day

Brakes done in your office parking lot. A tune-up while you're home with the kids. Your schedule stays yours.

Watch the work

Nothing happens behind a shop wall. Ask questions, see the worn part come off, and know exactly what you paid for.

How a visit works

From "it's making a noise" to back on the road

  1. STEP 01

    You call, the mechanic answers

Describe what the car is doing — noises, lights, leaks. You get an honest first read and a window for the visit, straight from the person doing the work.

  2. STEP 02

    The van pulls up

A fully stocked service van arrives at your home, office, or wherever the car quit. No shuttle rides, no rental car, no waiting room coffee.

  3. STEP 03

    Diagnosis before dollars

The problem gets confirmed with professional-grade tools, and you get a real price before any work starts. Approve it, and the job begins.

  4. STEP 04

    Fixed, tested, cleaned up

The repair is done on the spot, road-checked where possible, and the work area is left the way it was found — minus the car trouble.
